A bruiser of an 8-point buck makes an appearance, and escapes, during late fall muzzleloader season. Has he returned? Check the Week 2 winning images and decide for yourself. 
Is some deer-hunting redemption in the air? Indiana’s Kevin Crawford certainly hopes so, and it’s Crawford’s Moultrie trail cameras that are helping set the stage this summer, for what might be a very memorable fall. For sending in photos of a buck he believes might be the same stunning main-frame eight-point (with a few cool stickers) that he encountered late last fall, Crawford, 52, is our Week 2 Big Buck HIT LIST winner. The weekly win scores Crawford a $50 gift certificate redeemable for any BigFoot Cellular Game Camera or accessories (see below), and also makes him eligible for our September drawing to win a BigFoot Cellular Game Camera.
Here’s how Crawford explained his weekly entry:
“These trail cam photos are from southeastern Indiana,” Crawford explained. “They were captured at a Lucky Buck mineral site in a riverbottom area, located approximately 200 yards from some ag fields. Not sure if this was my Hit List buck from last year, but once his rack is a little more developed I should be able to tell.
“If this is the same buck, I had a shot at him on the last day of muzzleloader season last year, and missed him clean at 115 yards. I think I may have hit a tree limb, which threw the shot off course. The last picture (below) is what he was last year, if it is the same buck. Again, I am not yet sure. I plan on using a crossbow to harvest him during the Indiana archery season.” 
To enter the 2019 Big Buck HIT LIST Contest, simply send us a few clear, high-res. digital trail cam photos (two to five) of a buck (or bucks) TAKEN IN THE SUMMER OF 2019 (Day or night images, photos accepted NOW THROUGH SEPT. 6). Be sure to include the date and state where the images were taken, and a few sentences detailing the type of terrain/area where the image(s) were captured (i.e. funnel leading to soybean field, favorite stand site near wooded creekbed, etc.) and some info on the buck(s) pictured. Do you have any history with the buck? Is the buck a likely newcomer to your area? Is the deer somehow unusual or unique for the area? What weapons/seasons will you use to hunt the pictured buck(s)?
