Enter Today!“These are trail cam photos of the No. 1 buck on our Hit List,” Milholland wrote. “This guy travels the creek bottom on our farm regularly; the farm is 130 acres and we just purchased it in February, so we have no previous history with this deer. But we were able to find one of his 2020 sheds this year, during one of our first trips to the farm.“My 14-year-old son has named this buck ‘Junkyard,’ and has claimed him for this hunting season,” Milholland continued. “We will be using compound bows to hunt this buck; last year my son took his first deer with a bow, a doe, and has previously taken some great bucks using a crossbow.“It will primarily be my son and I hunting this buck, and his grandfather will make a few trips down from Indiana to join us throughout the season. To enter the 2021 Big Buck HIT LIST Contest, simply send us a few clear, high-res. digital trail cam photos (three to five) of a buck (or bucks) TAKEN IN THE SUMMER OF 2021 (Day or night images, photos accepted NOW THROUGH SEPT. 4). Be sure to include the following:

A. The dates and state where the images were taken. All images need a date stamp.

B. A few sentences detailing the type of terrain/area where the images were captured (i.e. cedar swamp edge, funnel leading to soybean field, favorite stand site near wooded creekbed, etc.).

C. Some info on the pictured buck(s).Do you have any history with the buck? Is the buck a likely newcomer to your area? Is the deer somehow unique or unusual for the area? What weapons/seasons will you use to hunt the pictured buck(s)?

D.
