Bear Refine EKO

Bear Refine EKOMaking its case as one of the best new compounds for 2022, Bear’s new flagship is a 33-inch axle-to-axle bow built to be the most quiet and dead-in-hand bow in its class. With arrow speeds up to 342 fps IBO and a mass weight of only 4.4 pounds, the Refine EKO was built to offer both performance and comfort. The bow features a revised Vibration Reduction System (VRS) from what the industry saw on the Redemption EKO last year. Bear says the new VRS eliminates more effectively the heard and felt vibration in every shot. You’ll also find a new ergonomic Grizgrip, designed to more comfortably fit shooters hands, as well as new KillerWave in-limb dampeners. The Refine also sports proven EKO cams. MSRP: $999.99

Mathews V3X 29 & V3X 33

Mathews V3X 29 Mathews new-for-2022 flagship hunting compound is the V3X, offering several exciting innovations centered on truly custom-fit accessories. This new bow, available in 29- or 33-inch axle-to-axle lengths, features new Bridge-Lock Sight Technology to enhance balance, and patent-pending Stay Afield System (S.A.S) to keep hunters in the field. It’s also built compatible with a completely redesigned line of LowPro Quivers. The V3X 29 (shown above) has a 6-inch brace height and accommodates draw lengths from 25.5 to 30 inches. The V3X 33 has a 6.5-inch brace height with draw lengths ranging from 27 to 31.5 inches.

Bridge-Lock Sight Technology allows the mounting of a dovetail sight through the bow’s riser, eliminating the need for an external mounting bracket. In addition, it allows for a streamlined profile, improved balance and reduced felt vibration. Several popular brands (including Axcel, Spot Hogg and HHA) fit the dovetail cutout. In addition, Mathews partnered with Axcel to create the BL Fixed 5-pin Sight that allows archers to micro-adjust elevation, windage and each individual .019-inch pin. Mathews is also offering a new solid finish option: Granite (shown above), one of eight solid and camo options. MSRP: (starting at $1,199)

Bowtech SR350

Bowtech SR350Bowtech is calling this one the most accurate and comfortable speed bow ever developed, period. That’s a big statement, but the SR350, weighing in at 4.4 pounds complete with its 33-inch axle-to-axle frame, has the guts to back it up. The DeadLock Cam System delivers a smooth-as-silk draw cycle, breaking the perception that a speed bow can’t be comfortable. And as you might guess by its name, this bow and its 6-inch brace height is built to generate a blistering 350 fps. Speaking of DeadLock Cam Technology, it’s designed to be the most tunable and reliably accurate cam system on the planet. MSRP: $1,299

Prime INLINE Series

Prime INLINE 3 According to Prime, this new three-bow series is built to take accuracy and feel to a whole new level. The INLINE is available in three different models: the INLINE 1, INLINE 3 and INLINE 5. These bows have axle to axle lengths of 31, 33 and 35 inches, respectively. But they all have one thing in common and that’s Prime’s unique new lnline Cam System, designed to create an equally loaded cam throughout the draw cycle. This occurs by bringing the cable track in line with the string track. As the bow is drawn the cable track slides in line with the string, making the cable and string equally INLINE with each other.

This in-line binary system creates a more-balanced cam, which Prime says results in the most-accurate compound bow ever made. Prime is also calling the INLINE, with its added Limb damper, the quietest and most “dead in the hand” bow the company has ever built. You’ll also find an 82x Aluminum riser, touted as the stiffest and lightest aluminum riser on the market. In addition, the proven Nanogrip uses NASA-developed Aerogel to ensure it won’t get cold, even in the coldest conditions. MSRPs: $1,199 to $1,249.

Elite EnVision

Elite Envision

Looking for a better shooting experience?  With the new EnVision Elite engineers hope to increase your bowhunting accuracy, confidence, and stealth. How exactly?  The new EnVision integrates a target-inspired design into a compact, stealthy and deadly hunting bow. With wider limbs and a longer, straighter riser, the EnVision strategically positions the weight over the grip, and behind the shooter. The result is a balanced and rock-solid platform. In addition, you’ll find Elite’s proprietary SET Technology: Simplified. Exact. Tuning. So this bow is easily tunable to optimize performance, while the nearly 7-inch brace height contributes to impressive accuracy. Mass weight is 4.45 pounds; the EnVision produces IBO speeds to 334 fps. MSRP: $1,199

PSE EVO XF 30 & EVO XF 33

PSE EVO XF

What’s better than one hot new premium bow from innovator PSE? Of course that answer is two, in the form of the new EVO XF 30 and EVO XF 33 (shown above). As you might guess these bows feature axle to axle lengths of 30 and 33 inches, respectively, but otherwise share new technologies. Those include the new Limb Vise Pocket that delivers improved stability. The limb pivots tighten against the handle surface to ensure the limb remains centered over the riser. In addition, the new E2 and S2 Cams offer maximum energy transfer from limbs to arrow. They also have wider, more robust draw stops to deliver an amazingly solid back wall. Depending on cam system, you’ll find speeds to 345 fps and brace heights from 6.5 to 7 1/8 inches. MSRPs: starting at $1,199

Bowtech CP28

Bowtech CP28You can count Team HuntStand among the fans of shorter axle-to-axle hunting compounds. And that’s the wheelhouse of the new 28-inch axle-to-axle CP28 , the most-compact DeadLock platform ever developed. The CP28, at 4.4 pounds with 6.75-inch brace height, is built to be a treestand or blind hunter’s dream, built around a compact but stable riser design for ultra-maneuverability and increased accuracy. The silky-smooth DeadLock Cam System is built to produce a flat-shooting 335 fps, with industry-leading ease of tuning accuracy. Bowtech says this bow’s cams help it deliver the stability of a 30-plus-inch axle-to-axle bow, while still generating extreme speed. MSRP: $1,199

Bowtech Revolt XL

Bowtech Revolt XLLong-draw archers sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to hot new bows. The good news? The Revolt XL  is designed to change that. With the 33-inch axle-to-axle Revolt XL (4.5 pounds, 6.625-inch brace height) Bowtech says smooth-drawing accuracy for long draw archers has finally arrived. It comes courtesy of its all-new DeadLock Cam System that’s optimized for ultimate performance at 350 fps, for archers with draw lengths ranging from 27.5 to 33 inches. Where do things top out?
