Two new bowhunters using trail cams for the first time locate two big bucks. Are they set for a fateful fall?
Veteran bowhunters who have tasted success in the deer woods know that, despite dealing with plenty of days when nothing seems to go right, things can turn around quickly. We’re not saying that is case with father-son bowhunting duo Joe (54) and Alex (19) Jaworski of Pennsylvania, but it does seem the stars are aligning for this team, for a very exciting fall. For sending in images of two different bucks in the duo’s newly chosen PA hunting area, Joe Jaworski is the Week 8 winner of our 2021 Big Buck HIT LIST contest. The weekly win scores Jaworski a Wildlife Research Center scent and scent-elimination prize package valued at $88, and also makes him eligible for our drawing to win a Wildlife Research Center prize package valued at more than $180. Enter Today!“So this my first time using trail cams,” Jaworski wrote. “My son and I are going to be archery hunting for the first time this year in Pennsylvania, and these are two bucks we are aiming for, beginning in October.
“Our hunting area is basically made up of hardwoods; maples and oaks are the main trees in the area. This will be the first time we are hunting this area, so this is the first time we have seen these big boys.”
