Week10six 900This summer it appears Wisconsin’s Larry Wilcox is kind of a kid in a giant Northwoods candy store. After recently springing for a few cellular trail cameras, Wilcox, 50, has added a new level to his typical summertime scouting/glassing sessions, and the results have been impressive. For sending in photos of several promising bigwoods bucks he will be bowhunting soon, Wilcox is the final, Week 10 winner of our 2021 Big Buck HIT LIST contest. The weekly win scores Wilcox a Wildlife Research Center scent and scent-elimination prize package valued at $88, and also makes him eligible for our drawing to win a Wildlife Research Center prize package valued at more than $180. Stay tuned next week for news of our Grand Prize winner!Week10five 900“Enclosed are photos of several bucks captured in what has turned out to be a very productive funnel area I found this summer in northern Wisconsin, taken between July 22 and Aug. 19,” Wilcox wrote. “I’m catching these bigwoods bucks bottlenecked between a large swamp and a relatively recent logging/slash area, after initially glassing just the two bucks you see together, just before dark back in July.Week10two 900“I was first excited to see just the two bucks, but after setting some cameras I was pleasantly surprised to find there’s actually a handful of bucks using this area that I would consider Hit List bucks for me and my son come this fall.Week10three 900“After a few challenging years with the local deer population, we haven’t seen bucks of this caliber in a while, and we’re excited to get after them beginning with the bow season opener.Week10four 900“Keep up the good work with the HuntStand app; as someone who hunts a lot of local public land the property lines feature has been invaluable finding out-of-the-way spots I wouldn’t typically have known about, and with the offline mapping feature I love the fact that you can see exactly where you are at all times, even without service.”HitListWeek8-10 900For his Week 10 win Wilcox will receive the Wildlife Research Center prize package shown above, valued at $88. WRCgrandprize 900All 10 weekly winners will now be placed in a drawing to receive a Grand Prize Package of Wildlife Research Center products (see image above) valued at more than $181. Included is a Scent Killer Gold 24/24 Combo, Field Wipes, Scent Killer Body Wash, Shampoo, and Antiperspirant/Deodorant, as well as Laundry Detergent, Dryer Sheets, a Magnum Dripper with Golden Scrape, Key Wicks and a variety of Special Golden Estrus Scents.Week10one 900Thanks to all who submitted entries for this exciting contest, but remember your chances to win great gear from HuntStand are far from over; in fact, they’re just getting started.
