Now you can track all your movements in real-time with ScoutTreX—our latest update in the ScoutLook Hunting app. From laying “breadcrumb trails” in and out of new hunting spots to digitally marking blood trails, make sure you have the latest app update for Android or iOS to use ScoutTreX.
HOW TO USE SCOUTTREX
Tap the boot icon on the map screen, then tap the play button to “Start Tracking” your movements. A colored bar at the bottom of the screen will indicate your GPS strength. You will have the option to pause tracking, or tap the stop button and you can save your ScoutTreX to revisit later. When you save your ScoutTreX, you can choose to make it a specific color (six options) and make notes (for instance, maybe you’ll color a blood trail red and make a note about where/when you last heard a noise).
Saved ScoutTrex can be accessed via the main menu of the app in your Saved Locations, alongside Places, Logs and ScoutMarX. Your ScoutTreX will tell you how far you traveled, average speed, and duration of the trip. You can also selectively view your ScoutTreX on the map screen by tapping the sub-menu icon located at the upper right of the screen, where you can choose to view all ScoutTreX or one at a time.
