The challenge lies not just in finding the antler, but in capturing the emotions, surroundings, and unique aspects that make each shed discovery special.
Judges will be looking for originality, storytelling ability, and overall aesthetic appeal in the submitted photos. Whether it's a solitary shed against a breathtaking sunset, a snapshot of the moment of discovery, or a creative composition that captures the essence of shed hunting, participants are encouraged to let their creativity shine through their photography to weave a captivating tale of their shed-hunting journey.

There's only one way to enter, post your most captivating shed hunting photos taken in 2024 on Instagram using the hashtag #ShedHunt24 and tag @HuntStand in your photo. Your entry is complete once you've done this. Feel free to submit multiple photos.

SQUAD
Highlights the significance of your shed hunting squad. This could be your dog, spouse, children, or buddies — either on the hunt or striking gold.
TRAIL-BLAZER
A macro (close-up) shot emphasizing intricate details of the shed, exploring it on a micro level. In addition to having a trail camera image of the deer the shed was cast from.
MAKE YOUR MARK
Creative high-quality images. High-resolution, lighting, composition, use of optimal photographic equipment.

THE JUDGES
Winner Selection
- Judges will select 5 finalists for each category (15 total finalists) from all eligible submissions.
- Winners of each category will be selected through a public online vote.
- One Grand Prize winner will be selected from the 3 category winners through a public online vote.
