Despite the rainy conditions as predicted by HuntStand, impressive numbers of deer were on the move.
We finally came eye to eye with a deer over 300 pounds on the last day of the hunt. It was a now-or-never situation for me that ended up being one of my most memorable bowhunts to date. Every bowhunter understands the highs and lows of trying to kill mature deer. Even in a place like this, where there are so many whitetails, it’s never easy.
