The really cool thing about the HuntStand HuntZone wind map feature? It shows you how to use the wind to your advantage during all your hunting adventures. Getting the wind right is a critical part of most every hunt if your goal is to get as close as possible to game. And of course, you want to do this without betraying your presence. The HuntZone will help.
3 Stage Process
Think about using the HuntZone Wind Map as a three-stage process. You’re going to want to start by determining where your next hunt will be. You can do this by using the HuntZone wind map while you’re e-scouting, well before your hunt. It will show you which stand locations will be best for the forecasted conditions.
Step Two
Once you have a specific hunt location chosen, it’s time to check the HuntZone again. Do this just before you head out to hunt. You do this to make sure nothing has changed. Because it can. If something does change, it’s time to change your strategy on the fly. That’s part of the extreme power of HuntStand.
Step Three
Finally, step three is to monitor the HuntZone while you’re out there in the field. Things can change dynamically on the fly. Don’t just hike into a hunting spot thinking you can stay there as long as you want. Maybe you have to make an unplanned location change a few hours into your sit. HuntStand and HuntZone let you do that, quickly and easily.
