Burris Thermal Riflescopes are a great option if you’re looking to build a dedicated night-hunting rifle. They’re simple to operate and provide an ideal aiming solution for hunting hogs or predators after dark. Currently offered in 35mm and 50mm models.
We outfitted a Savage MSR 10 Hunter with the BTS50—the 50mm version—for a hog hunt in Georgia (see the hunt right here). After a late arrival to camp, within 30 minutes we had the rifle set up and sighted in for our first night of hunting. For advanced thermal technology, the ease of setup and use was immediately impressive. While we didn’t manage to luck into any hogs, we got to spend enough time in the field and on the range with the BTS50 to realize it’s a badass thermal scope.
Choose from BTS50 (50mm) or BTS32 (32mm) models for your night hunting rifle rig.
Multiple reticle options and color palettes, adjustable brightness and contrast, and simple one-hand operation allow you to customize your shooting experience with Burris Thermal Riflescopes.
If you get serious about night hunting with thermal optics, you might want to consider picking up some type of handheld thermal scanner. Burris sells a dedicated unit for this purpose, or you can lean on the Burris Clip-On thermal optic that doubles as a handheld scanner or a thermal adapter for a traditional riflescope.
